Peter Sutton

A St. Louis native, Peter spent his youth traveling the countryside with his family’s business, acquiring skills that would serve him well when he launched Fire and Facet Studios.

Peter began his formal education in gemology and jewelry manufacturing arts at the Gemological Institute of America (G.I.A.) in Santa Monica, California, where he earned a Graduate Jeweler Gemologist (G.J.G) degree. After graduation, he departed the west coast for the French Quarter of New Orleans, where he worked for an exclusive store specializing in antique and estate jewelry.

From New Orleans, Peter continued his career in New Jersey and then in North Carolina, finally returning home to St. Louis, where he now lives with his architect husband Jeremy. They share a love of all things design, especially anything with a mid-century modern vibe, and this enthusiasm influenced the interiors at Fire and Facet Studios. A self-proclaimed foodie (and accomplished cook), Peter enjoys talking food as much as he enjoys designing jewelry. Be sure to ask him for a restaurant recommendation!
